The Most Beautiful Places of Untouched Nature

Some of the most beautiful places in the world are at risk of disappearing altogether. With a growing population, we need space to put everybody and that inevitably means getting rid of green natural spaces and building on them instead. That means it’s pretty rare to find untouched pockets of nature at home, and even the ones abroad are starting to fade away.

But don’t worry, we haven’t completely destroyed nature yet. Here are some of the best places to visit in the world where you still can see untouched nature.

Namibia

The main reason that natural areas are lost is simple; people l living in the area need buildings and roads etc. That’s why Namibia is one of the most pristine places on Earth because it’s also one of the most sparsely populated. The country gets its name from the Namib desert which you can see in all its glory, complete with its population of cheetahs and other wildlife.

The huge dunes and picturesque waterfalls make Namibia one of the most stunning places on the planet. They’ve managed to preserve everything so well because they’re actually one of the only countries in the world that has protection of its ecosystems and natural features written into the constitution.

Dubai

You’re probably thinking I’ve gone mad. Dubai is a concrete jungle full of huge skyscrapers and even some man-made beaches. How can that be called untouched?

True, the city is completely devoid of natural features but if you head outside a little way, you can find some spectacular nature reserves where the landscape of the desert has been preserved brilliantly. As an added extra, you can also go on a green planet city walk through the artificially constructed rainforest they have there. It’s a bit of a cheat but it still gives you a great opportunity to see what a natural rainforest would look like.

Galapagos Islands

The islands, made famous for being the place where Charles Darwin first came up with his theory of evolution, is still largely untouched. There are only 23,000 people living there so much of the animal and plant life remains undisturbed.

One of the reasons that Darwin found the place so inspiring is because of the wide range of exotic wildlife that you can find there; you can see Galapagos’ giant tortoises, penguins, whales, and so much more. The Galapagos has been made into a biological marine preserve in order to protect all of that amazing sea life so it will survive for years to come.

Papua New Guinea

Large areas of Papua New Guinea are yet to be explored and the rest of the country is mainly populated with rural villages that don’t have too much impact on the surrounding environment. Researchers are very interested in Papua New Guinea because they believe that there are a lot of undiscovered tropical rainforest plants and animals hiding there. A mixture of the difficult terrain and issues with the legal system over there, it’s been difficult for people to develop on the land so it remains pristine. If you’re looking for somewhere to escape the trappings of modern life, try visiting one of these amazing places.

Papua New Guinea is our neighbor. If you visit it, you might as well visit Indonesia. With 17,000+ islands, there are still many untouched natural areas too.
